<p>Student Development Student Assistant</p> <p>Department: Student Development - Wellesley</p> <p>Location: Wellesley Hills</p> <p>MassBay fosters educational excellence and academic success to prepare students for local and global citizenship, to promote their personal growth, to meet critical workforce demands of communities, and to contribute to the region's economic development.</p> <p>Massachusetts Bay Community College is served by a cadre of employees of varied backgrounds and experiences. We invite all individuals to consider joining our community.</p> <p>Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. This is a part-time, student employment position with no benefits. This role provides front desk support for the Student Development Office, along with administrative assistance and support for Essential Student Resources (ESR) initiatives. The Student Development Assistant will gain hands-on experience in student support services and social service resource coordination.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <p>Front Desk & Administrative Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff members, and guests;</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to engage professionally and warmly in fast-paced environment;</p> </li><li> <p>Perform general office and administrative duties, including answering and routing phone calls and assisting with scheduling inquiries and appointment confirmations;</p> </li></ul> <p>Student Support, Outreach & Program Coordination</p> <ul> <li> <p>Distribute essential resources (e.g., hygiene and period products, meals, and snacks);</p> </li><li> <p>Develop flyers and outreach materials (e.g., Canva) and maintain resource lists;</p> </li><li> <p>Support data collection efforts to assess program effectiveness;</p> </li></ul> <p>Independent Project</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete an independent project aligned with student worker's interests that supports the Student Development Office and benefits the student community;</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>This list is not to be considered all-inclusive.
