You will partner closely with Sales and Account Management teams to understand client challenges, demonstrate tailored platform solutions, and build a cross-functional support network to address client needs. This role combines technical expertise with strong client-facing skills, contributing to an environment where people and technology work together to deliver exceptional results.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Sales Enablement & Demo Management: Review and manage demo requests through Salesforce; collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to define meeting objectives and technical requirements </li><li>Platform Expertise: Customize and configure the Egencia platform to address specific customer business and technical needs </li><li>Client-Facing Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical expert during client presentations, both remote and in-person, translating complex features into business value </li><li>Team Enablement: Conduct monthly educational sessions with Global Sales and Account Management teams to build platform knowledge and sales confidence </li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Technology teams as a subject matter expert to identify innovative solutions and bring customer insights back to the organization </li><li>Market Intelligence: Gather and communicate competitive intelligence from the field to the Commercial Enablement team </li><li>Event Support: Represent Egencia at industry tradeshows; provide pre-sales technical guidance on API integrations, HR feeds, and system connectivity </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>An energetic, technically-minded professional who thrives in a collaborative sales environment. You should be equally comfortable diving into technical specifications and building rapport with C-suite executives. Your success will be measured by your ability to accelerate sales cycles, enable your team, and ensure customers see the full value of the platform.</p> <ul> <li> <p>2-5 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in corporate travel or B2B SaaS environments</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical audiences</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), Seismic, and Crayon</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of integration solutions including SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) and REST/SOAP APIs</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of HR data feeds and system integration best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Soft Skills & Attributes:</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent listening and consultative problem-solving abilities</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable presenting and demonstrating technology solutions in both remote and in-person settings to C-level executives</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across all levels</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Sandler, Spanco, or Customer Centric Selling</p> </li><li> <p>Travel may be required</p> </li></ul> <p>Location</p> <p>Chicago, Illinois, United States</p> <p>The US national base salary range for this position is from</p> <p>$72,100.00 - $133,900.00</p> <p>The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role.
