Are you ready for a challenge?!</p> <p>We are looking for an engineer to design, develop and deploy calibration and test instrumentation systems for Apple's outstanding products. This engineer will work closely with multi-functional groups (Design, ME, EE, SW, Ops, etc.) throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to ensure the success of current and future Apple products. You will be responsible for the design specification, bring up, validation and deployment of automated instrumentation to calibrate and test Apple's products through NPI and mass production. Responsibilities will be tuned to match the candidate's technical background, but you may be encouraged to:</p> <p>Architect instrumentation systems (including HW specification) and maintain those systems through production</p> <p>Work with our mechanical engineering team to specify and validate the required mechanical fixtures u0026 automation systems</p> <p>Develop, debug, and optimize automation software</p> <p>Implement sophisticated audio processing and ML algorithms to evaluate acoustic performance of systems</p> <p>Analyze large amounts of data generated from your instrument systems and adopt data-driven approaches to solving engineering challenges</p> <p>Perform failure mode root cause analysis and resolution, debugging from the system level down to the component level</p> <p>Work closely with Apple Acoustics/Nu0026V, system EE, product design, firmware, operations, and logistics teams.</p> <p>Frequent interactions with contract manufacturers/vendors; developing SOPs, debug instructions, and documentation The following skills are not vital for consideration, but will be considered a plus:</p> <p>5+ years of professional experience in design, development, debug, validation and working with electro-mechanical systems Understanding of test principles, GRR, experience with test automation and optimization Experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to manage many priorities across multiple disciplines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Array</p>
