<p>Worker Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for maintenance and also for implementation of AS9100 approved Quality Management System (QMS) across multi-site operations</p> </li><li> <p>QMS standardization across multi-site operations</p> </li><li> <p>Responsibilities include alignment of procedures/documents, with corporate guidance, across various businesses and supporting AS9100 compliance requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Regulatory alignment of ITAR, DCMA requirements for Quality department.</p> </li><li> <p>Development of Internal Audit process along with training team members per AS9100 compliance and performing required audits to improve Quality culture for multi-site operations</p> </li><li> <p>Perform required internal audits per AS9100 compliance, capturing any risks through the internal audit process and driving actions for improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Implementation of CARB (Corrective Actions Boards) for tracking, reviewing and driving toward effective closure for CARS (Corrective Actions or CAPA)</p> </li><li> <p>CARs/CAPA ownership and effectiveness verification</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for hosting third party auditors from AS9100 registrar, customers or other government agencies as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform any GAP analysis, risk assessments and/or flow down requirements to ensure compliance to AS9100, AS9102 and/or Government/Customer requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for successful planning, preparation and completion of AS9100 recertification audits, surveillance audits and related activities agreed with the manager for a strong QMS</p> </li><li> <p>Cross functional implementation of QMS tools and procedures along with required trainings</p> </li><li> <p>Supplier and sub-tier QMS compliance monitoring</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for managing and maintaining an effective Calibration Management system, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the measurement instruments/equipment per QMS.</p> </li><li> <p>Implementation of effectiveness QMS training program and maintenance of the same</p> </li><li> <p>Implementation of Quality Stamp Control program and maintenance of the same</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 8 years of experience in managing Risk Based Quality Management System</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 8 years of experience in leading successful implementation of AS9100 Rev D quality system from a reputed third party registrar</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 10 years of experience in successful implementation of AS9100 certification program</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Has effective interpersonal and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products.</p> </li><li> <p>Is committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the company.</p> </li><li> <p>Focuses on teamwork and puts the success of the team above one's own interests.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment (Constant)</p> </li><li> <p>Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)</p> </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.</p> </li><li> <p>Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S.</p> </li></ul> <p>The salary range for this role is:</p> <p>$97,680 - $138,600</p> <p>AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.</p> <p>ITAR Requirement:</p> <p>This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and/or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR").
