<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to provide our Partner Agencies with excellent customer service while assisting with food order processing.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the first point of contact for agency partners and others visiting the Agency Services and Order Pick-up and Shop Thru areas. </li><li>Greet and provide information to customers and partner agencies in the Agency Services Lobby to provide excellent customer service </li><li>Answer incoming calls coming about individual orders, delivery times, product availability, order discrepancies, billing, becoming a partner, etc. </li><li>Ensure partner agencies are complying with check-in, order pickup and shop-thru procedures </li><li>Notify the warehouse staff of agencies who have checked in for their order pick-ups or shop-thru. </li><li>Work closely with Inventory and Warehouse teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies with orders. </li><li>Process all produce program and shop-thru paperwork. </li><li>Create and distribute daily pick-up schedule. </li><li>Create and distribute product removal and recall communications to partner agencies as needed. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education and Certifications: High School Diploma/GED required. Food Safety Certification (provided by MOFC).</p> <p>Experience: At least one year of experience in customer service or other position working with external customers required. Some experience in a social service setting preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of database operations.</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to work effectively, independently and in a team environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask.
