This position provides strategic direction, administration, and enforcement of building standards and safety regulations in accordance with the Ohio board of building Standards and Ohio Revised Code Chapters 3781 and 3791. Responsibilities include managing departmental and contracted staff, overseeing regulatory compliance, specialty trade licensing boards, plan review, and safety ordinance enforcement to protect public health, safety, and welfare.
