<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Digital Commerce Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting digital sales channels by processing web-based quotes and orders, facilitating transactions through e-procurement platforms, and supporting Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs. This position plays a key role in enhancing the customer experience through accurate and timely order management and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Support</p> <ul> <li>Process and bill customer orders related to VMI programs </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate inventory tracking </li></ul> <p>Web Order Management</p> <ul> <li>Review and process incoming online orders through NEFCO's web platforms </li><li>Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage shipments and deliveries </li><li>Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to order status, delivery, and billing </li></ul> <p>E-Procurement Platform Facilitation</p> <ul> <li>Support customers utilizing third-party e-procurement systems (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Remarcable) </li><li>Assist with quote generation and order placement through digital procurement platforms </li></ul> <p>General Administrative and Sales Support</p> <ul> <li>Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction </li><li>Support ongoing improvements in digital sales processes and customer experience </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and general business communication tools </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with VMI programs and/or B2B e-commerce or e-procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Remarcable) </li><li>Familiarity with Eclipse ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems </li><li>Previous experience in inside sales, order processing, or customer service in a B2B environment </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>This is a full-time, in-office position based in East Hartford, CT </li><li>Standard office environment; prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer </li></ul> <p>FLSA Classification</p> <p>This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal and Connecticut state labor laws.</p>
