You will work side-by-side with our Head of Growth, Deputy?Head?of?Advisory and Product leads, acting as a bridge between market needs and solution design. You will also support on client delivery, particularly for new products or services.</p> <p>The list below sketches what success looks like for each pillar and how much of your time might be allocated to them:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Client acquisition & business development (30 %): Healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities and new logos closed; innovation and growth of existing client engagements.</p> </li><li> <p>Client delivery (30 %): High priority engagements receive strategic guidance; deliverables showcase Holtara best practice and feed case studies.</p> </li><li> <p>Product & proposition development (25 %): New or enhanced service modules launched on schedule; client feedback loops inform roadmap; pilot projects convert to repeatable offers.</p> </li><li> <p>Thought leadership & market presence (15 %): Articles, webinars and conference talks raise Holtara's profile and generate inbound interest.</p> </li></ul> <p>Key responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Originate new business. Identify target sectors, craft outreach campaigns, write proposals and negotiate contracts-often partnering with Sales but owning the sustainability narrative.</p> </li><li> <p>Shape growth strategy. Analyse market trends in climate action, circular economy, social impact and responsible supply chains; recommend where Holtara should invest next.</p> </li><li> <p>Design scalable offers. Package bespoke advisory insights into repeatable workflows, data models and AI-assisted diagnostics that integrate with the Holtara platform. Your goal is to redefine our products and services so we can add more value more efficiently, at scale.</p> </li><li> <p>Pilot and refine. Lead rapid prototyping projects with lighthouse clients; capture lessons learned to improve the offer before broader rollout.</p> </li><li> <p>Support delivery excellence. Serve as subject-matter lead on select projects-e.g., netzero roadmaps, supply chain due diligence-ensuring alignment with our methodologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Build relationships. Nurture networks with sustainability leaders in Dutch and EU-based private investors, industry associations and portfolio companies.</p> </li><li> <p>Amplify our voice. Coauthor white papers, host webinars and represent Holtara at events to position us as a go to partner for sustainability growth challenges.</p> </li></ul> <p>What you bring</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience. 5?+?years in sustainability consulting, strategy, corporate development or a relevant SaaS scaleup. Demonstrated success in business development or solution design.</p> </li><li> <p>Sustainability knowhow. Solid grounding in core sustainability themes, such as climate, social impact, responsible supply chains and sustainable finance.</p> </li><li> <p>Commercial instincts. Strong hunter mentality-comfortable setting targets, qualifying prospects and closing deals.</p> </li><li> <p>Product mindset. Ability to translate client pain points into structured, tech-enabled solutions; experience working with product and tech development teams is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication skills. Clear, persuasive storyteller-verbally and in writing-in English; Dutch language proficiency is highly valued.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration DNA. Thrive in cross-functional teams; adept at balancing speed with quality in a fast growing environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Education.
