<p>The LEAP Before and After School program is looking for creative, self-motivated and caring individuals for our before and after school programs for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>Applicants should enjoy working with children in Grades 1-5 and be able to pass a background check. Group Leaders must have childcare experience.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Engage children in all activities while helping them make safe and appropriate choices </li><li>Communicate with Group Leaders and LEAP Site Coordinator regarding the child's accomplishments, activities and general behavior </li><li>Help prepare and supervise snack </li><li>Perform assigned daily cleaning, and maintain site safety </li><li>Assist youth with homework/academic support </li><li>Remain flexible and open-minded </li><li>Contribute to program clubs and activities </li><li>Support students needing 1:1 assistance </li><li>Attend staff meetings and complete required trainings </li><li>Above all, ensure the safety of students </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required. </li><li>At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred </li></ul> <p>Hours: Monday through Friday, approximately 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Ability to work all five afternoons is preferred, but not required.</p> <p>Additional hours are available during school vacation weeks and summer.</p> <p>Rate: $15- $22/hour</p>
