<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Responsible for the safety, engagement and the overall operations of the Academy/Child Center while upholding Life Time's Mission and Vision Statements. Delivers the highest level of customer service, management, and consistency to both Members and Team Members. Partners with the Kids Manager and Team Members to ensure the best experience is offered for our junior members while in the Academy/Child Center and kids programming/events.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides exceptional customer service and a safe, clean, and friendly environment for Members and Guests </li><li>Promotes and assists Kids Manager in preparing for events/programming along with marketing and driving participation numbers and revenue </li><li>Manages the Academy/Child Center payroll within budgetary guidelines while making recommendations as needed to the Kids Manager </li><li>Manages and supports the Kids team members by providing ongoing training, giving feedback, and coaching </li><li>Completes the casting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of kids team members </li><li>Completes inventory and assists in ordering and maintaining supplies, toys and equipment wihin the Academy/Child Center and for Events and Programming </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>2 years of experience teaching or working in a children's program </li><li>2 years of experience in day care setting as a lead teacher or two consecutive summers of camp experience with increased responsibility </li><li>2 years of supervisory/management experience </li><li>Successfully complete and pass Kids On-Demand Certifications before 1st day of work </li><li>First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire </li><li>Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with children </li><li>The ability to engage a group of children in an activity </li><li>Customer service and strong communication skills </li></ul> <p>Pay</p> <p>This is an hourly position with wages starting at $19.75 and pays up to $26.50, based on experience and qualifications.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>All team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A fully subsidized membership</p> </li><li> <p>Discounts on Life Time products and services</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) retirement savings plan with company discretionary match (21 years of age and older)</p> </li><li> <p>Training and professional development</p> </li><li> <p>Paid sick leave where required by law</p> </li></ul> <p>Full-time Team Members are eligible for additional benefits, including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage</p> </li><li> <p>Short term and long term disability insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Life insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Pre-tax flexible spending and dependent care plans</p> </li><li> <p>Parental leave and adoption assistance</p> </li><li> <p>Paid time off, including 5 to 20 vacation days per calendar year (based on tenure) and paid sick leave</p> </li><li> <p>Deferred compensation plan, if the team member meets the required income threshold</p> </li></ul> <p>Life Time is a place for everyone.
