Only employees who are residents of the United States and those holding H-1B Visas are eligible for retirement benefits. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs radiographic procedures, critiques radiographs and images to maintain quality control program. </li><li>Selects film, adjusts and programs a variety of film changes, including cinefluorography, and may develop films. </li><li>Coordinates the activities for the technical services in the operating room and the portable x-ray area. </li><li>Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive exposure to radiation and electric shock. Assesses patient vital signs and condition when indicated during exams. </li><li>Reports equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel. </li><li>May assist in orienting new employees or students regarding workflow and procedures of the department. </li><li>Prepares, cleans and stocks rooms with supplies and linens. </li><li>May participate on department and hospital committees and provide in service training to hospital staff. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:</p> <p>Demonstrated potential ability to perform the essential functions as outlined above.</p> <p>Ability to provide care to the population served.</p> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patient's status and provide care as described in the department's policies and procedures manual.</p> <p>Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.</p> <p>Ability to select proper cassette size, exposure factors and correct any exposure and imaging problems.</p> <p>Ability to prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the needs of the physicians.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <p>Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire.</p> <p>Current licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah.</p> <p>ARRT Registration as a Radiologic Technician R.T.
