<p>Software Developer - C#</p> <p>American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, is looking to add a Software Developer. Candidate must be able to commute to office in Guilford CT or Sandy UT daily.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs. </li><li>Testing and providing feedback to management during the development process. </li><li>Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment. </li><li>Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications. </li><li>Working toward participating in the complete software development process from conception to deployment. </li><li>Writing, building, and deployment of software. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including C# .Net. </li><li>Database and cache: Familiarity with DBMS technology including SQLServer. </li><li>Basic software design ability: Ability to start a project with minimal guidance. </li><li>Knowledge of interfacing with REST services. </li><li>Excellent writing and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to understand a component of a proposed system and be able to build it with guidance. </li><li>Preferred experience in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries including Angular or AngularJS and jQuery. </li><li>Preferred experience working with Windows and Linux servers. </li></ul> <p>Educational/Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and 0 - 2 years experience in Software Development. </li><li>Or associate's degree with 3-5 years of work experience. </li><li>A willingness to travel to the office is a must. </li></ul>
