Participates in groups or completes tasks individually from start to finish. This includes planning, business requirements and benefits analysis, solution research, and implementation, testing, documentation and training. Manages task priorities and time to maximize the value for the company. Communicates with external and internal customers to address business needs.</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Shares responsibility to complete daily routine maintenance tasks with the rest of the system administration group. These tasks include security setup, backup and restore, monitoring and resources management. Tracking software is used to log the support cases.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops upgrade and maintenance plans for all aspects of the Windows infrastructure including hardware and software solutions. Evaluates costs and benefits and submits recommendations to management.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides suggestions to the management to facilitate best use of technology to solve business problems, improve system performance and department efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and follows procedures and policies for the Windows environment administration.</p> </li><li> <p>Works to maximize systems uptime and availability.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with the system administration team, management and other parts of the organization to develop and maintain corporate standards and policies. Promotes and helps to incorporate the best practices behaviors into the corporate culture.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with the IT Desktop Technicians as the last support tier.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to take a project and direction and run with it under minimal supervision or management</p> </li><li> <p>Understands and meets or exceeds quality standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
