Customers are confident that when they choose us, we will respond with the safe, green, efficient, and cost-effective solutions and services they require.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Level III Rope Access Supervisor actively lead field and offshore operations with fellow rope access technicians. Responsible for safety management, work site organization, and where applicable, supervisory roles and responsibilities and providing leadership to work crews on various projects.</p> <p>This position requires travel to client sites, manufacturing facilities, and offshore locations to perform inspections, support project needs, and deliver exceptional technical expertise. Travel will be mostly domestic with potential for some international travel.</p> <p>Duties And Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Inspect offshore structures, vessels, and pipelines for appurtenances in conformance to specifications, using fixed or preset measuring instruments. </li><li>Examine materials or products for anomalies, damage, or defects such as cracks, pits, incomplete welds, holes, dents, excessive corrosion, etc. </li><li>Communicate and coordinate with Oceaneering project/operation managers and customers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Take cathodic potential (CP) readings using a "drop-cell" technique. </li><li>Make appropriate drawings and sketches to supplement written data. </li><li>Manage the inspection and replacement of equipment, as well as other logistical tasks associated with maintaining a sound state of readiness. </li><li>Travel out-of-town or overseas, when needed, sometimes with short notice. </li><li>Provide or arrange on-the-job training, mentoring and assessment of team members while offshore. </li><li>Serve as a Level III Rope Access Supervisor and carry out project management, while working offshore. </li><li>Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and procedures. </li><li>Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks before commencing work. </li><li>Adhere to all OII global Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), SPRAT & IRATA guidelines, and Global RA Manager's (SME) instructions. </li><li>Conduct maintenance and repair tasks as required, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client specifications. </li><li>Document and report findings accurately, providing recommendations for corrective actions. </li><li>Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks. </li><li>Maintain and inspect all rope access equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. </li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns. </li><li>Collaborate with clients to understand their specific inspection needs and requirements. </li><li>Performs additional responsibilities and tasks as required to support organizational objectives. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>REQUIRED :</p> <ul> <li>Minimum two (2) year's Level III Rope Access experience. </li><li>Valid Level III Rope Access Certification SPRAT or IRATA. </li><li>Proven track record of working on both onshore and offshore projects </li><li>Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment. </li><li>Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card, valid driver's license and passport, Safe Gulf & HUET Water Survival, and regionally mandated offshore work requirement documents as appropriate. </li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills effectively engage with clients and team members. Proficient in report writing and documentation. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of rope access techniques, safety regulations, and inspection procedures. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices. </li><li>Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft Word office applications and internal management systems. </li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, work at heights, and in harsh working environments. </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. </li><li>Compliance with company and client health, safety, and environmental requirements. </li><li>Ability to work in various environment, including confined space and at heights. </li><li>Willingness to travel and work offshore for extended periods. </li><li>Physically fit and able to handle the demands of rope access work. </li></ul> <p>DESIRED:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) </li><li>Previous experience with Inspection and/or non-destructive testing (NDT) </li><li>Additional certifications in relevant inspection techniques (e.g., NDT Level II) are preferred. </li><li>ASNT Level II certifications </li><li>Petzl - PPE Training & Inspection Certification </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form. </li><li>Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. </li><li>Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. </li><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. </li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. </li><li>Ensures that important information from management is shared with employees and others as appropriate </li><li>Gives and receives constructive feedback </li><li>Ensures that others involved in a project or effort are kept informed about developments and plans </li><li>Ensures that regular consistent communication takes place within area of responsibility </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>PAY, BENEFITS AND WORK SCHEDULE:</p> <p>We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
