<p>Position Description</p> <p>Simpson College has an immediate opening for the full-time Student Support Services (SSS) Director.</p> <p>Broad Function/Job Summary:</p> <p>Plan, direct, and implement all TRIO/Student Support Services program grant activities.</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop programs/services/activities to promote retention and graduation rates among program participants.</p> </li><li> <p>Recruit, select, and supervise project staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that the project meets all grant obligations in a timely manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage federal government funds and monitor SSS budget.</p> </li><li> <p>Report on project accomplishment and complete all necessary evaluations and annual reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Academic Affairs.</p> </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's degree in Education and Administration, Psychology, Youth Administration, Leadership Studies or related area.
