To learn more about USC benefits, access the "Working at USC" section on the Applicant Portal at https://uscjobs.sc.edu.</p> <p>Position Description</p> <p>Advertised Job Summary</p> <p>The University of South Carolina Lancaster, a Palmetto College campus of the University of South Carolina located approximately thirty-five (35) miles south of Charlotte, NC seeks candidates for a faculty position in Computer Science for a 9-month appointment at the rank of either Assistant Professor or Instructor of Computer Science beginning August 16, 2026 or January 1, 2027.</p> <p>The successful candidate will typically teach twelve credit hours of undergraduate (freshmen and sophomore) computer science courses per semester or its equivalent, including evening and distributed learning courses, as well as courses for dual-credit high school students at both Indian Land and main Lancaster campus locations.
