This individual is also responsible for answering incoming poker phone calls and telemarketing to communicate upcoming events, in support of the company's service initiatives by greeting every customer, either in person or on the phone, with an upbeat and positive attitude.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and problem solving skills are required. Ability to work with confidential data required.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Greets players as they enter the poker room and provides prompt and courteous service. </li><li>Creates and maintains sign up lists and seating for the poker room games. </li><li>Maintains the Games In Progress board. </li><li>Seats players in live cash games. </li><li>Administers "must-move" lists for multiple games of the same limit and type. </li><li>Transfers players between games. </li><li>Calls down lists for new games. </li><li>Answers incoming calls. </li><li>Provides dealers with bank fills for the table tray banks, in accordance with all departmental and company policies and procedures. </li><li>Provides players with chip transaction in accordance with all departmental and company policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintains the cleanliness of the Poker Room. </li><li>Assists players in seating for poker games. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Poker Management Team. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Responds to visual and aural cues. </li><li>Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards, dice and spinning wheels. </li><li>Must be able to reach, bend, twist, turn, grab, grip, sort and stack. </li><li>Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator. </li><li>Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises and bright lights. </li><li>Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. </li></ul> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS</p> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with a variety of people. Flexibility with scheduling, including shifts and days off. Ability to read, speak and correspond in the English language.
