This leader will drive a balance of art and science in curating compelling product assortments rooted in deep consumer insights, with a keen eye on both performance and storytelling. This role is responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies that drive growth, brand equity, and consumer relevance across the Americas region.</p> <p>This position oversees regional and channel merchandising, including pricing strategy, merchandising operations, and close partnership with regional marketing and global product teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong merchant mindset, commercial acumen, and a creative approach to building assortments that connect with the local consumer while aligning with global brand direction.</p> <p>Your Impact</p> <ul> <li>Lead regional merchandising strategy across wholesale, DTC (eCommerce and retail), ensuring channel and consumer alignment while delivering financial targets. </li><li>Partner with regional marketing to co-create product narratives and consumer activations that resonate with local audiences. </li><li>Oversee the development of seasonal assortments, ensuring they reflect a strategic balance of consumer insights, trend awareness, product performance, and commercial viability. </li><li>Manage pricing and promotional strategy across the region, working closely with finance and commercial leadership to protect margin and enhance brand positioning. </li><li>Guide merchandising operations, including line planning, forecasting, lifecycle management, and assortment optimization. </li><li>Serve as a key voice in global product feedback loops, ensuring regional needs are considered in future product development cycles. </li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing merchandising team, building a culture of consumer obsession, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. </li><li>Analyze business performance to inform in-season actions and future assortment strategies. </li><li>Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, planning, operations, and store/eComm leadership to ensure integrated go-to-market execution. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>15+ years of progressive experience in merchandising, ideally within a global performance or lifestyle brand. </li><li>Proven track record leading merchandising across multiple channels (wholesale, eComm, retail) in a matrixed environment. </li><li>Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of regional market dynamics and consumer behavior. </li><li>Creative and analytical thinker - balances instinct and insight, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. </li><li>Strong leadership and team development skills; able to inspire and influence across levels and functions. </li><li>Experience collaborating with marketing teams to bring product stories to life through localized campaigns. </li><li>Deep understanding of pricing, margin management, and product lifecycle. </li><li>Passion for sport, performance, and innovation. </li></ul> <p>Workplace Location</p> <ul> <li>Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office. </li><li>Return to Work Designation: 4 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote. </li><li>Travel: As needed </li></ul> <p>Relocation</p> <ul> <li>Relocation Provided </li></ul> <p>Base Compensation</p> <p>$267,333.20 - $334,166.50</p> <p>Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
