<p>Summary of the Position:</p> <p>The inventory cycle counter is responsible for accurate and on-going cycle counts and reconciliations.</p> <p>Functions Of The Position</p> <ul> <li>Physically counts random locations and compares to perpetual on-hand quantities. </li><li>Consistently maintains accurate perpetual inventories by cycle counting random locations. </li><li>Operates forklift in a safe manner to perform responsibilities. </li><li>Assists to ensure first in, first out (FIFO) system is maintained. </li><li>Makes appropriate recommendations to inventory control supervisor regarding methods to improve inventory accuracies and efficiencies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>One or more years of experience in general warehouse or inventory. </li><li>Sit-down and stand-up forklift certification required. </li><li>Cherry picker and pallet rider certification preferred. </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Good verbal and writing communications skills </li><li>Ability to read, write and speak English. </li></ul> <p>JBSS is an Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or status as a protected veteran.</p>
