This role ensures the consistent quality of mixed products by following batch instructions, monitoring equipment, and maintaining detailed production records.</p> <p>Essential Function of the Job:</p> <ul> <li>Mix batches in accordance with mixing instructions and procedures </li><li>Can exhibit leadership qualities and self-motivated to carry out tasks </li><li>Will cooperate and communicate with management, co-workers, and vendors </li><li>Will participate in team meetings as necessary </li><li>Perform ingredient weigh up and scale up for mixing batches </li><li>Maintain logs and required records </li><li>Load ingredients into mixing tanks </li><li>Check for proper filling, seals, or damaged incoming ingredient packages </li><li>Perform proper housekeeping cleaning/sanitizing equipment </li><li>Perform raw material and finished mix cycle counts monthly </li><li>Rework product as needed, working with the lab </li><li>Wash equipment, clean, & sanitize equipment/inspections </li><li>Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices </li><li>Must be good with Microsoft Office programs </li><li>Must have good math skills in order to do unit conversions and repairs </li><li>Maintain record of all raw materials coming to plant and maintain efficient safety regulations </li><li>Maintain all mixing plant equipment and perform troubleshoot with maintenance. </li><li>Maintain optimal quality of all products and recommend improvements to the lab </li><li>Manage inventory of all mixing plant supplies and ensure accuracy in same according to required policies and procedures and manage all communication for safety standards </li><li>Perform regular inspection on all machinery and maintain compliance to all regulations such as OSHA. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience with operating tow motors, mixing equipment and scales is a must </li><li>Must have the physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds </li><li>Follow procedures/directions and be safety minded </li></ul>
