And everyone, in their own unique way, plays an important part, every day.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Provides and coordinates direct intervention services to children 0 -3 and their families in natural settings.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and rotates age-appropriate curriculum for children birth to 3 years of age.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures all center-based program policies/protocols/guidelines are followed as described by the Department of Public Health/Early Intervention Operational Standards, CHL-Lipton Early Intervention Program, and the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) when applicable.</p> </li><li> <p>Implements group policies and guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Assigns clients and Lipton EIP staff to groups.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees group referrals, enrollment, transportation (liaison, group staff coverage, service delivery, health related protocols and notifications, monthly safety drills, EI teacher aides and other related duties.</p> </li></ol> <p>II. Position Qualifications:</p> <p>License/Certification/Education:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited institution with a major concentration in infants and toddlers - Early Intervention, Childhood Education, Child Development, Child Studies or Special Education with a concentration or experience in early childhood.</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor degree or higher in psychology, speech pathology, social work, liberal studies with concentration or experience in early childhood.</p> </li><li> <p>Completion of at least 4 approved, 3 credit courses that focus on infants, toddlers and/or families.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to pass a CORI background check</p> </li><li> <p>Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide a registered and insured automobile for work related purposes, including travel between work sites.</p> </li></ol> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.</p> <p>We're striving to make respect a part of everything we do at UMass Memorial Health - for our patients, our community and each other.
