<p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Visionary leader who will be able to provide effective instructional leadership to the school community. </li><li>A leader who is culturally responsive, and has the ability to create a school community that works collaboratively and promotes high expectations for all students. </li><li>Responsible for the hiring of teachers in collaboration with Academic Directors. </li><li>Respond and meet with parents to discuss specific concerns. </li><li>Establish professional development activities for teachers, while setting school standards. </li><li>Review and implement district policies and school procedures. </li><li>Responsible for handling all school emergencies and school crisis situations. </li><li>Responsible for attending conferences to gain knowledge on current educational trends. </li><li>Full understanding of the special education continuum of services and familiar with special education laws. </li><li>Knowledge of Part 154 Regulations and strategies/skills that support Multiple Language Learners. </li><li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Vast knowledge of interdisciplinary and authentic project-based learning activities. </li><li>Building level supervisory experience including building a master schedule. </li><li>Strong knowledge in literacy instruction and social/emotional learning. </li><li>Well-versed in restorative justice practices. </li><li>Oversee the performance of teachers by conducting formal and informal observations. </li><li>Ensures that the district's mission statement is the driving force for all decision-making. </li><li>Versed in creating staff development opportunities to enhance teacher practice. </li><li>Bilingual background helpful. </li><li>Other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Superintendent of Schools. </li></ul> <p>EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Applications for Full Time Probationary Instructional positions must include an introductory video.
