<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Olivet Nazarene University Department of Nursing is seeking an adjunct nursing faculty member to provide clinical instruction in the undergraduate nursing program.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>1.Help with return demonstrations of skills at the beginning of the semester.</p> <p>2.Supervise students in clinical.</p> <p>3.Grade weekly assignments such as journals and care plans.</p> <p>4.Evaluate each student each day on department forms.</p> <p>5.Meet with students at the end of their rotation to give them a final evaluation.</p> <p>6.Maintain ongoing communication with level coordinator and didactic professor.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required</p> <p>1.A lifestyle in agreement with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant.</p> <p>2.At least five years of experience in the nursing field.</p> <p>3.Strong work ethic</p> <p>4.Excellent interpersonal communication skills</p> <p>5.Excellent organizational skills</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>1.A Master's degree in Nursing is required;</p> <p>2.Current health requirements include, but are not limited to, CPR certification, TB skin test, drug screen, MMR, Varicella, flu vaccine, and COVID vaccines.</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>Travel required to clinical sites. Primary interaction with level coordinator. Reports to director of pre-licensure programs and the director of nursing programs.</p>
