<p>Job Description: Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Architecture and Building Technology (ABT). STCC's ABT program is uniquely positioned in Western Massachusetts as the only associate degree program in the region that fully integrates architectural design, building construction technology, sustainability, and project management. The program prepares students for direct entry into the architecture and construction industries, transfer into four-year institutions, or advancement within the skilled trades and building professions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a broad, practice-based understanding of both architectural design and applied building systems, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the ABT curriculum.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The faculty member will teach a range of courses that may include architectural drafting and design, CAD/BIM/Revit, construction systems, estimating, sustainability, building codes, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will bring industry experience that bridges architectural design, building technology, and construction management practices and will contribute to program development, student advising, industry partnerships, and community engagement.
