<p>Job Description</p> <p>Gotham is looking for an Account Supervisor to join our fast paced, production heavy, beauty account team. The Account Supervisor is a highly motivated account management professional, who is extremely organized and thrives in an environment where expectations are high, and timelines are short. A passion for beauty, an innate interest in digital content and the social media landscape, along with proven expertise in building client relationships and managing small nimble teams, are just some of the markers of success in this exciting role!</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships established on mutual trust and respect </li><li>Gain a thorough understanding of the client's business and industry, becoming the "subject matter expert", and lead internal teams in understanding this information </li><li>Effectively challenge the client for clear direction on objectives and strategies when appropriate, and present the agency's recommendations and point-of-views accordingly </li><li>Provide clear and logical direction to internal account, creative, and production teams; efficiently manage agency resources and personnel </li><li>Understand the production budget per project and work within parameters to deliver on client expectations </li><li>Manage challenging situations both internally and with the client; proactively plan to avoid crisis situations, and should they develop, report and discuss them with management in a timely manner </li><li>Maintain a sense of teamwork among agency staff assigned to account </li><li>Train and develop direct reports to grow within the agency </li></ul> <p>What we're looking for:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of advertising industry experience with a clear understanding of agency processes that include creative, production, strategy, finance, etc. </li><li>Senior Account Executive ready for the next level in their career, or newer Account Supervisor looking for a change/shift into the beauty category </li><li>Previous experience training and managing direct reports is a must </li><li>Successful experience working on campaign productions, inclusive of planning, set management, and post-production </li><li>Previous experience with social media and/or content shooting is a plus </li><li>Ability to confidently handle multiple projects, and manage deliverables, deadlines, and budgets on a steady basis </li><li>Demonstrated client management and negotiation skills </li><li>Genuine initiative and willingness to assume greater responsibilities </li><li>Strong leadership potential, especially as it pertains to being able to guide and motivate others </li></ul> <p>Who we are:</p> <p>With a name inspired by the capital of culture and a legacy that includes some of the world's most iconic brands, it's no wonder Gotham is often referred to as "McCann Worldgroup's best kept secret."</p> <p>Founded in 1994, we are the Global and US agency of record for Maybelline New York, a relationship of 30 years. Again.</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.</p>
