<p>Kforce is looking for a Project Accountant in the Saint Louis area.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance </li><li>Manage payment workflows and respond to vendor inquiries </li><li>Support contract-related payment activities and documentation requirements </li><li>Assist with project setup and maintain financial data integrity </li><li>Ensure adherence to internal processes and support audit/compliance needs </li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external partners as needed* Bachelor's in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience) </li><li>2-4 years of relevant experience </li><li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage high-volume work </li><li>Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate cross-functionally </li><li>Deadline-driven with strong accountability and follow-through </li><li>Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office </li><li>Experience with compliance-related processes and financial documentation </li><li>Ability to identify and implement process improvements </li></ul>
