<p>In this role, you will serve as the technical owner, primarily responsible for defining manufacturing and test requirements for advanced compute and GPU systems. You will lead the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) manufacturing readiness, taking ownership from the initial prototype build phase through to a successful high-volume Mass Production (MP) launch. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams including Design Engineering as well as our external manufacturing partners. Your core mission is to establish the standards and requirements that ensure overall manufacturing line readiness, enable seamless NPI builds, and guarantee execution at scale. You will also be accountable for achieving key manufacturing metrics and driving failure analysis and corrective actions to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience: 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field </li><li>Proven program and project management experience, specifically focusing on successfully leading complex products from NPI through to high-volume Mass Production (MP) launch </li><li>Understanding of hardware architecture, along with hands-on experience in the testing and validation of compute and GPU systems (defining these requirements is central to the role) </li><li>Background in process development, bring-up, and qualification, encompassing Final Assembly, Test, and Packout processes </li><li>Demonstrated experience working effectively with international contract manufacturers </li><li>Analytical problem-solving approaches </li><li>Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align with teams toward common goals, supported by effective communication </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing & Test Validation: Define, develop, and validate comprehensive manufacturing and test requirements specifically tailored for advanced compute and GPU systems from NPI through to Mass Production (MP) </li><li>Test Enhancements: Continuously evaluate and enhance test coverage, methodologies, and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of hardware reliability and performance at scale </li><li>Debug & Root Cause Analysis: Lead complex hardware debugging efforts, actively managing the Major Issue List. Drive root cause analysis and Failure Analysis and Corrective Actions (FACA) to resolve systemic hardware issues and meet stringent yield targets </li><li>Supplier Collaboration: Travel internationally to supplier sites (up to 25%) to oversee hardware validation, ensure compliance with defined test requirements, and foster technical partnerships </li><li>Power & Performance Optimization: Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to drive power optimizations and performance tuning for compute and GPU systems during the manufacturing validation phase </li><li>NPI to MP Launch Management: Actively manage the technical transition of products from prototype builds to high-volume manufacturing, facilitating critical technical discussions to resolve open design and test issues </li></ul> <p>About Meta</p> <p>Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
