<p>This position is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of linens and other soft goods. Assists guests by providing friendly, courteous and professional service.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for cleaning and maintaining linen/soft goods by working industrial washers and dryers in the laundry department </li><li>Cleans all equipment, carts, tables, and floors </li><li>Inspects linens for wear or stains during folding </li><li>Separates soiled linen away from clean linen </li><li>Uses proper wash procedures according to the type of linen </li><li>Conducts monthly linen inventory </li><li>Cleans lint traps and sweeps laundry rooms </li><li>Accountable for guest satisfaction as it pertains to laundry service at the property </li><li>Works as a team player and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments as necessary </li><li>Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties </li><li>Adheres to the company attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures </li></ul> <p>Education: High school diploma or GED preferred</p> <p>Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains predictable and reliable attendance</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods</p> </li></ul> <p>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty/responsibility and meet all criteria under physical demands, with or without accommodation.</p> <p>This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an "at-will" employment relationship.
