This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives.</p> <p>This job profile is intended for specialist professionals that apply advanced knowledge of a job area. Required to manage projects/processes independently with limited supervision. Typically coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.</p> <p>This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large organization.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Monitor and improve production or service delivery processes to meet performance targets.</p> <p>Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and technical teams to ensure resource availability.</p> <p>Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.</p> <p>Support implementation of lean manufacturing or service excellence initiatives.</p> <p>Maintain accurate documentation of processes, metrics, and compliance records.</p> <p>Train and mentor junior staff on operational procedures and best practices.</p> <p>Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.</p> <p>Skills & Qualifications</p> <p>Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least 5-7 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.</p> <p>Strong understanding of production/service operations and process optimization.</p> <p>Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools.</p> <p>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</p> <p>Experience with lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.</p> <p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</p> <p>What we offer you</p> <ul> <li>12 Paid Holidays </li><li>15 Paid Time Off (PTO) Days </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, life & disability </li><li>401K with 6% company match </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Employee Wellness Program </li><li>New onsite cafeteria, all meals subsidized (La Porte Service Center) </li></ul> <p>Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
