<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking a Platform Engineer for the shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.</p> <p>This position is contingent upon award news, expected early 2026.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Perform Platform Engineering SATCOM and data link support for stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution project for shipboard C5ISR systems. </li><li>Communicate to assigned Project Manager all key project SATCOM systems integration plans, and engineering changes including requirements, C5ISR systems configurations and status, schedule, and scope changes. </li><li>Works with the multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful shipboard industrial test procedures development and testing. </li></ul> <p>Please view our program page for more information and view all open positions available: https://jobs.saic.com/pages/shipyardc5isr-careers</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more relevant experience with one or more C5ISR systems listed below; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degrees. </li></ul> <p>Required Security Clearance:</p> <ul> <li>Must have an active secret clearance on first day of employment with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience with One or More Key shipboard SATCOM Systems:</p> <ul> <li>Commercial Broadband Satellite Program and STING terminals. </li><li>Navy Multiband Terminal (AEHF, WGS, MILSTAR). </li><li>Network Tactical Common Data Link (NTCDL). </li><li>Digital Modular Radio (UHF SATCOM). </li><li>Advanced Time Division Multiple Access Interface Processor. </li><li>Television Direct-to-Sailors. </li><li>Satellite Terminal (transportable) Non-Geostationary (STING). </li><li>EHF SATCOM. </li><li>Global Broadcast Service (GBS). </li><li>Satellite Signals Navigation Set (WRN-6V). </li></ul> <p>Required Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IA Level II - Security+ certification, or CSSIP or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Familiar with C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings. </li><li>Experience with MIL-STD-2106 Development of Shipboard Industrial Test procedures. </li><li>Prior experience working in a Firm Fixed Price environment. </li><li>Prior experience providing support for a project in a shipyard environment. </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
