You will also evaluate and optimize haul truck performance and fuel consumption on multiple mine profiles utilizing battery supported hybrid upgrade solutions.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Identify and address challenges within mining operations, such as optimizing equipment performance, improving safety protocols, or developing new mining techniques. </li><li>Work closely with mining companies to understand their specific needs and challenges, and to develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. </li><li>Analyze existing mining operations to identify areas for improvement, and then develop and implement solutions to optimize efficiency, productivity, and safety. </li><li>Use data analysis techniques to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. </li><li>Be involved in training mining personnel in the use of new equipment or technologies or providing technical support to mining operations. </li><li>Be involved in the planning, execution, and monitoring of mining projects. </li><li>Play a crucial role in ensuring that mining operations are conducted safely and sustainably, considering environmental impacts and resource management. </li><li>Use simulations to test different scenarios and configurations to optimize mine site operations and achieve desired outcomes. </li><li>Work with vendors to determine the performance, interface, price, and delivery time of components for a project. </li><li>Create complete and accurate proposals, including cost estimates, and meet profitability goals. </li><li>Provide technical support for other FLANDERS locations and customers. </li><li>Work within teams on customer requirements, applications, etc. Provide progress and updates as needed. </li><li>Execute work in effective and efficient ways to best serve customers and attain corporate goals. </li><li>Participate in various job-related training opportunities, including technical, operational, and safety topics. </li><li>Good in communicating technical ideas and terms; communicating well with customers, teammates and leadership; crisp reporting; excellent written communication including reports, summaries; collaborates well within the team; participates in exchange of ideas and opinions well. </li></ul> <p>What You Need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering preferred. Alternative engineering degrees with extensive mine application experience will be considered. </li><li>Strong understanding of mining equipment and applications. 5-10 years' experience in Mining.
