<p>ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:</p> <p>Univision Chicago is seeking for a Technical Director with skills in broadcast/media management and technical operations. This position will require work on nights, weekends and holidays.</p> <p>Rate: $39.00/H</p> <p>YOUR DAY-DAY:</p> <ul> <li>Effective operation and execution, but not limited to, of the following: </li><li>Direct all elements of on-air elements, audio, and video of a station television program or segment </li><li>Blocking, coding of rundown and production execution of a newscast, pre-recorded show, live cut-ins, pre-recorded cut-ins and station ID's </li><li>Studio Control Operation - Knowledge of Vizrt Graphics Operation Software </li><li>Technical Direct Live Show - Knowledge of Sony switcher, Sony ELC and Avid ecosystem. </li><li>Robo-Cam Operation </li><li>Lighting Operation </li><li>Non-linear Editing - Knowledge of Avid Media Composer and Media Central editing software. </li><li>Inbound feed management, prep/processing and routing (Microwave & Satellite) - Knowledge of Avid Capture Recording Equipment. </li><li>Communication with all departments at station, master control operations hub and sat ops centers </li><li>Position is represented by NABET-CWA </li></ul> <p>YOU HAVE:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate effectively and work well with people while under pressure. </li><li>Exceptional Team player who is reliable with a positive attitude </li><li>Displays a positive work ethic and can work under tight deadlines. </li><li>High degree of integrity and professionalism. </li><li>Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Process & detail oriented </li><li>Strong computer skills </li><li>Technical aptitude and always willing to learn </li><li>Adaptable to change in technology and environment </li><li>Self-starter that can operate under minimal supervision </li><li>Preferably Bilingual - English/Spanish </li></ul> <p>TelevisaUnivision is an equal opportunity employer.
