<p>Kforce has a client in San Francisco, CA that is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong front-end and back-end development skills to join Data & Automation team. In this role, the Full Stack Engineer will design, build, and scale web applications and services that support internal tools for automation, analytics, and generative AI integrations. They will be instrumental in modernizing platforms, creating intuitive UIs, and delivering performant backend services using a combination of React, Node.js, Python, Flask, and REST APIs. The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate across teams, especially with GenAI engineers and data specialists, to ensure seamless functionality from backend services to end-user interfaces.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Build responsive, cross-platform, and scalable UIs tailored for automation, AI-assisted tools, and internal dashboards </li><li>Extend and modernize existing Flask-based platforms by integrating them with modern React front-ends and cloud-enabled backends </li><li>Develop and manage RESTful APIs and service layers for robust communication between frontend and backend components </li><li>Work with Fusion, internal tools, and data services to ensure seamless data integration and orchestration across systems </li><li>Ensure cloud integration with platforms like GCP, AWS, or Firebase for scalability, real-time updates, and secure data handling </li><li>Drive DevOps practices, support CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high code quality, performance, and maintainability </li><li>Collaborate with UI/UX designers and stakeholders to iterate on feedback from user testing and usability reviews* 5+ years of full-stack development experience using React.js, Node.js, and Python (Flask or FastAPI) </li><li>Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and service orchestration </li><li>Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and component-based UI design </li><li>Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices </li><li>Experience with responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first UI development </li><li>Familiarity with CSS-in-JS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or styled-components </li><li>Knowledge of cloud service integration (GCP, AWS, Firebase) for deploying scalable applications </li><li>Hands-on experience with Git, agile workflows, and frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Babel </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with TypeScript, Redux, or other state management tools </li><li>Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) or cross-platform development strategies </li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments </li><li>Understanding of design systems, component libraries, and accessibility standards (WCAG) </li><li>Experience in Python and JavaScript (JS), as these languages are essential for integrating with generative AI platforms and developing automation scripts </li><li>Experience working on automation platforms, anomaly detection dashboards, or workflow-driven UI tools </li></ul>
