<p>Job Details</p> <p>Emergency Department Pediatrician</p> <p>Thrilled to continue growing our Pediatric Emergency Medicine group, which includes both Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians and Pediatricians working in the Emergency Department setting!</p> <p>ChristianaCare is looking for a BC/BE Pediatrician with acuity experience to join our team. We welcome part-time or full-time interest.</p> <p>Our mission is twofold: to provide exceptional care for children, and to provide an exceptional work environment for our faculty and staff. Our model is flourishing thanks to a fabulous, collaborative group and supportive work and patient communities. We work closely with our nursing and operations teams to approach our growth and development with a multidisciplinary lens.</p> <p>We have multiple candidates who have already reached out for 2026. We also welcome applications for 2025!</p> <ul> <li>14-bed unit built in 2022 and located within a large, community nonprofit system. </li><li>Academic affiliation with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. </li><li>Resident education: EM, Med-Peds, EM/FM, EM/IM, FM. </li><li>Expanding pediatric subspecialty services. Both on site and virtual sub-specialty consults. </li><li>All imaging modalities, including POCUS with QPath E. </li><li>EMR (Cerner, transition to EPIC 2026). </li><li>Child Life. </li><li>Robust Behavioral Health (BH) support: embedded BH Social Worker; on site crisis evaluation and Pediatric Psychiatry teams; admissions covered by Pediatric Hospitalist team. </li><li>Unbeatable culture: commitment to DEI and work-life balance. </li><li>Career development opportunities: leadership, QI, POCUS, Education, etc. </li><li>Ample educational resources including 9000 sq ft SIM Center. </li><li>8-9h shifts with healthy sign-out culture. </li><li>Dedicated swing/nocturnists receive additional compensation. Others have minimal overnight coverage. </li><li>Competitive total compensation package. PSLF. Educational support. 12 weeks of paid parental leave. </li><li>Location: Newark, DE. ~45 min to Philly, ~1hr to Baltimore, ~1.5h to popular DE beaches. No sales tax.
