<p>Summary</p> <p>Full time. 36 hrs/week. Night shift. 7pm - 7:30 am. Weekends and holidays per unit rotation.</p> <p>Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. </li><li>Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. </li><li>Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. </li><li>Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. </li></ul> <p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p> <ul> <li>Required Credential(s): </li><li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. </li><li>Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. </li><li>Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. </li></ul>
