<p>Optimize University enrollment by providing personal attention and assistance to prospective students in all matters regarding admission to the University.</p> <p>Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Participate in all aspects of recruitment and outreach to prospective undergraduate students in the Southwest.</p> </li><li> <p>Visit local high schools, community colleges, and community based organizations across the country.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide admission counseling and Financial Aid information to prospective students, their parents, and counselors.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize web and digital communication and information platforms to reach underrepresented and Spanish speaking students and families.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the evaluation of applications for undergraduate admission.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with planning and execution of on campus recruitment events.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent LMU across the country at community and at professional organizations or associations, serve on committees as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned or requested.</p> </li></ol> <p>Loyola Marymount University Expectations</p> <p>Exhibit behavior that supports the mission, vision, and values of the university. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 1 year experience in admission, financial aid, or other area of higher education is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Bilingual fluency (English and Spanish) required.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with the Southwest region</p> </li><li> <p>Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) essential.</p> </li><li> <p>Highly developed organizational skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated computer competency.</p> </li></ul> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
