<p>College: Fletcher Technical Community College</p> <p>Department: Academic Affairs & Initiatives</p> <p>Sub department: Business, Ed, Arts, Math & Sciences (BEAMS)</p> <p>Type of Appointment: Part time - Temporary</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop marketing plan and marteting strategy for LASTEM Region 3. </li><li>Develop, maintain and update the BayouSTEM social media sites (Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram) as needed to promote local, regional, state, and national events and opportunities </li><li>Develop and distribute monthly newsletter of LASTEM events </li><li>Attend STEM-related meetings and professional development opportunities with the STEM Center Director as requested </li><li>Assist with development of STEM assets and gaps assessment, and work with regional partners to generate a database of STEM events, programs, and opportunities. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Education: Student enrolled full time in College or University courses, majoring in a STEM field or Marketing/Mass Communications.</p> <p>Preferred Education: Background in STEM education.</p> <p>Preferred Experience: Experience with social media platforms, website and graphics design, and marketing and brand development.</p> <p>Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
