Both candidates will be expected to teach courses in engineering management, but their research portfolios may more broadly include engineering management, systems engineering, and/or operations research. D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering or a closely related field. </li><li>Evidence of the ability to teach and develop courses in engineering management. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Evidence of leading and developing diverse teams to solve complex engineering problems. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience conducting research in engineering management, systems engineering, and/or operations research. </li><li>Professional experience in engineering management, systems engineering, and/or operations research. </li><li>Experience developing courses in engineering management. </li><li>Ability to build successful relationships with industry. </li></ul> <p>Special Conditions for Eligibility</p> <p>Department Information</p> <p>The Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering (IMSE) Department Ph.D. offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering, as well as an M.S. in Engineering Management and multiple graduate certificate programs. It currently has about 275 students and 24 full-time faculty members.</p> <p>UTA's College of Engineering provides highly trained engineers for the workforce in North Texas and beyond.
