A successful candidate will be passionate about food & beverage service and bring their enthusiasm with them to work each and every day!</p> <p>Summary -</p> <p>Provide day-to-day concessions of a designated unit; responsible for equipment and facility maintenance; oversee cash handling and revenue collection process; ensure consistent and quality delivery of goods and services and to maximize revenue opportunities; preserve and enhance department assets.</p> <p>Responsibilities -</p> <ul> <li>Personnel management - Recommend hiring of concessions seasonal staff and provide guidance and direction for job assignments; assist with performance appraisals, training, and workforce development opportunities. </li><li>Operations management - Oversee the day-to-day operations to include quality food and beverage preparation, menu planning and pricing. Monthly inventory and cost control measures. </li><li>Cash handling - Completing daily cash reports, overseeing proper cash handling procedures, and petty cash management including completion of daily logs and reports. </li><li>Administrative - Completing schedule, new hire paperwork, daily reports, inventory, ordering product for service, coding invoices. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements -</p> <ul> <li>Current resident of WI </li><li>16 years of age or older during application. </li><li>At least One (1) years of experience in Food service or cash handling, greeting customers, etc. </li><li>At least One (1) years of supervisory experience in Food service, leading a team, training </li><li>Ability to push/pull/carry/lift 20 lbs. </li></ul> <p>NOTE: This original application is open to permanent residents of the state of Wisconsin at the time of application. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position.
