Medway, with an approximate population of 13,000, is in the Metrowest area of Massachusetts and is situated equidistant between Boston, Massachusetts, and Providence, Rhode Island. We serve approximately 2,200 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, embracing the increasing diversity of our student body. About Medway High School Medway High School is a high-performing, student-centered learning community serving approximately 575 students in grades 9-12. Known for its strong academic program, inclusive culture, and deep sense of community, MHS offers a wide range of opportunities for students to challenge themselves through open-access Advanced Placement courses, Innovation Pathways, and robust arts, athletics, and extracurricular programs. Our staff is collaborative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement, with a focus on instructional excellence, student belonging, and preparing students for success beyond high school. Medway High School values leaders who are visible, relationship-driven, and eager to partner with teachers, students, and families to continue building on the school's strong tradition of excellence. The Principal shall be the educational administrator and manager of his/her school and shall supervise the operation and management of his/her school and school property, subject to the supervision and direction of the Superintendent. In accordance with district personnel policies, applicable statutes and budgetary parameters, and subject to the approval of the Superintendent, the Principal shall be responsible for the employment decisions regarding all teachers, instructional or administrative aides, and other personnel assigned to the school. Through the application of administrative leadership, management and supervisory skills, he/she shall organize and provide a learning environment conducive to the maximum educational growth of each student. Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Massachusetts licensure, or eligibility to obtain, as an elementary school principal. </li><li>Minimum of five years teaching experience preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership in staff and curriculum development. </li><li>Masters Degree with specialization in educational administration or curriculum and supervision preferred. </li><li>Administrative and/or supervisory experience preferred. </li><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable. </li></ul> <p>Hiring Timeline: Job posting to close: June 4, 2026 First round of interviews to be held: June 9, 2026 District site visits to be held: June 12, 2026 Additional Details: Salary Range: $152,000 - $177,000 annually For more information, please contact: Carly Hofstra, Human Resources Manager, Medway Public Schools, 45 Holliston Street, Medway, MA 02053, Email: chofstra@medwayschools.org</p>
