Will identify data quality issues and work with the appropriate staff to resolve issues and processes. Will implement data validation procedures to best support decision-making on campus. Will develop resources to educate administrators, faculty, and staff on available decision-making data, tools, and platforms. Will develop research reports and analyses in response to ad hoc requests.</p> <p>Education: Master's degree in Political Science or Sociology and one year of experience working in a higher education setting.</p> <p>Skills/Requirements: One year experience in the following: (1) SAS, SPSS, or R, (2) utilizing research methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative analysis; (3) reading and interpreting federal, state, and institutional policies; (4) demonstrating communication skills through preparing and explaining executive summaries and data results to a general audience; (5) creating an analysis of data to provide an overview of trends and forecasting opportunities that will guide decision-making; and (6) performing data visualization.</p> <p>Apply at: http://careers.wvu.edu</p>
