<p>Close All</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Applications are invited to fill a temporary researcher position to assist in the research of liquid crystal elastomers, assist in preparation of proposals and revise manuscripts related to completed research projects. We are committed to creating a workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and we encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>We are the Hayward Research Group.</p> <p>What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be</p> <ul> <li>Conduct laboratory research related to formulation of liquid crystal elastomers and polymerized ionic liquids and characterize their material properties. </li><li>Train and assist other laboratory members on use of equipment. </li><li>Assist in preparation of proposals via reviewing literature, collecting preliminary data, drafting background and proposal aims sections. </li><li>Revise manuscripts related to completed research projects for publication. </li></ul> <p>What We Can Offer</p> <p>The hire rate for this part-time position is $21.00 per hour.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.</p> <p>Be Statements</p> <p>Be excited.
