<p>Danvers High School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Long Term Substitute to cover a Business Education position beginning immediately. The teaching schedule includes sections of money matters (financial literacy) serving a diverse student population. The ideal candidate will be a student-centered educator with strong content knowledge and a commitment to promoting financial understanding. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in financial literacy Plan and implement meaningful lessons tailored to the needs of 9th-12th grade students, as well as students in AcademicIntervention and RISE (a specialized support program). Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, positive student thinking and social-emotional learning. Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments; provide timely and constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators to meet the academic and wellness needs of all students. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom activities. Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and school staff regarding student progress and classroom expectations. Support school-wide expectations and contribute to a positive school climate and culture.
