<p>Summary:</p> <p>This role will function as part of a team to meet production goals.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Set up and monitor all manufacturing parameters relating to the safe, efficient fabrication of silicone rubber products. </li><li>Perform adjustments on fabrication machine to control the configuration of the product as per specifications on work order. </li><li>Measuring and gauging thickness of material by using micrometers and various measuring/quality control instruments to maintain consistent product performance. </li><li>Assure that a sufficient quantity of raw material base is available to meet daily production demands by recording all inventory material usage on work orders and within computer software system. </li><li>Utilize overhead crane and other lifting/moving devices to assist in the transfer of materials. </li><li>Perform and record all in-process inspection/testing relating to maintaining product traceability and run documentation. </li><li>Conduct housekeeping by cleaning machine/rollers between product change overs. </li><li>Communicate with various departments such as quality, shipping and value added relative to product quality issues and availability of material for further processing or shipping. </li><li>Perform cycle counting to insure inventory accuracy. </li><li>Perform nonconforming material process including DMR's and hold tags. </li><li>Participate in the training of new employees. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>2+ years previous fabrication/slitting experience </li><li>Proficient computer skills </li><li>Experience with inventory management systems </li><li>Basic math skills </li><li>Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers </li></ul>
