<p>The evening custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas throughout the evening. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, students, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while responding to various facility needs as they arise.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Clean and restock restrooms throughout the evening (includes wiping down surfaces, and refilling soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper, as needed). </li><li>Regularly clean and maintain common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and break rooms. </li><li>Spot clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as needed. </li><li>Collect and dispose of trash from bins in common areas, offices, and restrooms. </li></ul> <p>Monitoring and Maintenance:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct frequent checks of high-traffic areas to ensure cleanliness is maintained. </li><li>Report any maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, electrical) to the Sr. Director of Facilities Operations promptly. </li></ul> <p>Customer Service:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to requests for cleaning services in a timely and efficient manner. </li><li>Address spills, accidents, or other immediate cleaning needs as they occur. </li><li>Provide assistance to building occupants with general inquiries or needs. </li></ul> <p>Safety & Compliance:</p> <ul> <li>Follow all safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. </li><li>Maintain a secure and safe environment by following security and safety procedures </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>Hourly Range:</p> <ul> <li>$19-23/hr </li></ul> <p>ICOM is unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.</p>
