<p>Position Summary Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) Location: 102 W Pineloch Ave, Orlando, FL Travel: Requires travel; candidates must be comfortable driving and frequently on the road. Department: Ambulatory and Post-Acute Administration Orlando Health is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to lead clinical strategy and operations across our Ambulatory and Post-Acute Services. This executive role will champion quality, safety, and patient experience while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and innovation. The CCO will collaborate with ambulatory service line leaders and corporate entities to develop and expand clinical programs and services. Key Responsibilities Coordinates the development of clinical philosophy and practice standards across all Ambulatory & Post-Acute Service lines,consistent with the mission, and communicates the philosophy and strategies to executive, management, clinical and direct support staff. Establishes standards of patient care based on evidence-based practices. Establishes clinical service standards and implements strategies to meet or exceed patient, family, and provider expectations. Develops and implements effective and accurate clinical staffing models while coordinating resources to improve operational efficiency in a safe manner and in accordance with Ambulatory & Post-Acute Services objectives. Develops, implements, and monitors clinical programs that add and expand integrated services. Develops Service lines and programs capable of attracting, engaging, and retaining highly skilled providers and clinical team members. Spearheads clinical initiatives aimed at maximizing the efficiency of clinical operations, improving patient service, and enhancing quality and safety outcomes. Helps align clinical quality and clinical service strategy for the organization in collaboration with the other members of the senior leadership team. Works with the Ambulatory & Post-Acute Services executive team to design, implement, and measure quality initiatives that reflect processes of care such as access, timeliness, and appropriateness of care. Creates a consistent, evidence-based standard of care for all Ambulatory & Post-Acute Service lines. Collaborates with healthcare leaders to establish compensation, benefits, and retention programs for Ambulatory and Post-Acute clinical staff. Responsible for the development of clinical protocols and procedures relative to patient care along with ensuring consistency and implementation of those procedures throughout Ambulatory & Post-Acute Service lines. Acts as a corporate resource to managers with various regulatory and accreditation matters. Supports and models an open, honest, positive, collaborative, and collegial learning environment. Educates and holds clinical managers accountable for the effective and appropriate utilization of resources. Provides clinical support to the Electronic Health Records program. Works closely with the Orlando Health Executive team to align protocols, standards of care and quality goals across the organization. Qualifications Education: Master's degree in a clinical-related field required. Doctorate degree preferred. Licensure/Certification: Active Florida licensure as a healthcare provider. Experience: Minimum of 10 (ten) years clinical experience, including in ambulatory settings. Minimum of 5 (five) years leadership experience in clinical quality and program development.</p>
