This position reports to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs. This position is grant funded through June 2026 with the possibility of a fund extension.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Recruit students for the program and assist students with application, financial aid, advising, and registration processes. </li><li>Recruit, train, support, and supervise peer mentors (approximately 5-7 peer mentors). </li><li>Teach GEN 102 Foundations of Learning, GEN 175 Career and Life Skills Development, and GEN 276 Employment and Professional Skills. </li><li>Assist students in developing work-based training opportunities on and off-campus and foster inclusive excellence by connecting students with campus organizations, groups, and activities. </li><li>Monitor student progress, collect and report on student outcome data. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Special Education, Education, Human Services, Counseling, or related field is required. </li><li>Three (3) years of relevant work experience is required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree and five (5) years of relevant work experience is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills Requested:</p> <p>Employee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection Act</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is an equal educational and employment opportunity institution.</p>
