<p>The Senior Accountant will be responsible for working with the team to achieve the department's primary goals which include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Incorporate GAAP Procedures into month-end close processes </li><li>Increase efficiency in all processes and decrease month-end close timing </li><li>Provide affiliates with exceptional customer service and the financial tools necessary to run their businesses successfully </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities/Duties</p> <ul> <li>Prepare, review and analyze balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP and industry best practices </li><li>Prepare, review and analyze transactions posted to the general ledger to ensure accurate accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policy </li><li>Prepare and review intercompany transactions and reconciliations </li><li>Prepare and analyze complex reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting </li><li>Prepare monthly preliminary income statements based on stakeholder input </li><li>Prepare and review financial reports that are informative and insightful to management in driving business success </li><li>Analyze processes and procedures to assist the department in developing best practices, creating efficiencies, generating accurate data, and improving the control environment </li><li>Assist the accounting managers in coaching, training, and supervising the staff accountants by applying industry knowledge and previous experience to our department tasks </li><li>Other duties as assigned and that bring value to the company </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting </li><li>4-5 years public company or public accounting, required (Big-4 Preferred) </li><li>CPA required </li><li>Strong Excel skills and tech savvy </li><li>Experience with NetSuite, UltiPro, Blackline, and/or Solution 7 is a plus </li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize </li><li>Desire to be part of building a top performing accounting and financial reporting team </li><li>Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing </li><li>Visual acuity for reading and using the computer </li><li>Ability to hear </li><li>Ability to freely move about the office </li><li>Ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time </li><li>Ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information </li><li>Fluency in the English language </li></ul> <p>Salary: $100,000 - $120,000</p> <p>Our commitment: As an employer committed to equal opportunity and a diverse workforce, all qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</p>
