<p>Job Description</p> <p>The Human Resources Generalist at Magnolia Glen oversees all Human Resources functions.</p> <p>What will I do every day?</p> <ul> <li>Assist in complying with human resources related company policies, as well as all applicable federal, state and local employment laws </li><li>Interview, hire, train, manage and retain highly effective associates </li><li>Develop and administer associate training programs to create a climate of associate engagement </li><li>Manage associate appreciation programs </li><li>Support and coach associates and managers regarding all Kisco human resources practices </li><li>Work with department directors on goal setting, annual performance reviews, salary, and terminations </li><li>Investigate and resolve associate grievances and complaints </li><li>Actively facilitate and support the company's associate wellness program and efforts </li><li>Monitor unemployment claims and attend hearings and appeals as needed </li><li>Actively handle workers' compensation claims </li><li>Coordinate all leaves of absence </li><li>Oversee payroll data, distribute paychecks, and conduct self-audits as appropriate </li><li>Responsible for maintaining accurate personnel files in HRIS systems </li><li>Perform other related duties as required </li></ul> <p>What will I need to be successful in this role?</p> <ul> <li>A passion for excellence </li><li>Be a great team player </li><li>Be a progressive and creative thinker </li><li>Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred </li><li>3 to 5 years of minimum experience required in the same or similar position </li><li>High competency in HRIS systems </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements and or Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>PHR and/or SHRM certification preferred </li></ul> <p>What's in it for me?
