<p>The Financial Analyst supports the finance organization by providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and business insights. This role partners closely with sales and management to support decision-making, improve financial performance, and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Financial Analysis & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods. </li><li>Support the month-end and year-end close processes by analyzing account activity and ensuring data accuracy. </li><li>Develop dashboards and management reports to support business performance reviews. </li></ul> <p>Budgeting & Forecasting</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. </li><li>Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities. </li><li>Provide financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Operational & Business Support</p> <ul> <li>Partner with sales, operations, and other departments to analyze cost drivers and profitability. </li><li>Develop price, volume and mix analysis to help support commercial margin execution </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls. </li><li>Assist in documenting and improving financial procedures and processes. </li></ul> <p>Systems & Data</p> <ul> <li>Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and BI tools to extract, analyze, and present financial data. </li><li>Support enhancements to financial reporting and planning tools. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related finance role. </li><li>Experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. </li><li>Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP a plus. </li><li>Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. </li><li>High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Office-based role with standard business hours. </li><li>Occasional travel may be required <10% </li></ul>
